I'm newly engaged to my best friend and could not be more excited to be married. My fiance and I love traveling the world and spending time in beautiful, light filled spaces. It sounds super simple but I get so much joy from watching a beautiful sunset or wandering through ancient architecture with my beau.
For our wedding we want to give our families a taste of what we experience on our travels. We are envisioning a reception in a beautiful space that has some history or a spectacular view. Ideally not a space created for wedding sake.
Is anyone familiar with venues (museums, private homes, an Inn or otherwise) that will be less then $40k (venue + catering)? The Harvard Art Museum currently tops our list but pushes us to our max budget (not ideal).
