Hello!
Question about engagement pictures, seasons, and using the pictures for save the dates or invitations. Wedding date is 10/30/2020, and FH and I are doing engagement pictures in mid-October (so soon! I'm excited). Anyway, I wanted to do a formal fall-centric, psuedo-Halloween shoot with a pumpkin carved with our wedding date and with purple smoke coming out of it.
So if I did this theme, would I be able to put them on the invitations I'd be sending in may-ish? Would that be weird? Or should I put them on the save the dates I'll be sending in early November? Does the season you take engagement pictures in matter in deciding this?
I'm hand-making watercolored somethings as well and I'd like to use those for either invites or save the dates, depending on when I use the engagement pictures.
