Does your dress have to match your color scheme?

I really think I want a blush dress, but I don't want pink to be a part of my color scheme...I want to have purple and blue (thinking a deep purple, like a plum, and a nice, bright turquoise). Does a blush dress work with that?

Hmm...we'll see I guess. I'll try and get some swatches and see how I can work the colors together.
