My fiancé isn’t going to be there. He is going to help me and my MOH set up (other bridesmaids are out of state so I’m very involved with the shower). Then him and his groomsmen (my MOHs fiancé) are going to go to the shooting rang (or something like that) and then come help clean up

My husband attended the entire thing, but I think that's pretty uncommon. His family lives in NJ and mine lives in PA so my shower was in between. It was a surprise so he is the one that took me there and he had nothing else to do which is why he chose to attend. We live in MD so it wasn't like he could just go home. Every shower other than my own, the groom has shown up at the end to say hi. It was rather weird having my husband there. If I had known he was going to be there, I would have invited two of my male friends, but I didn't want them to be the only guys there. My brother who was my bride's man was unfortunately unable to attend.

I agree with your fiance. It is a woman thing unless you are having a coed one. Your better off with him coming at the end, he won't have a good time. Probably be bored and waiting for it to be over. My fiance is coming to the bridal shower at the end. I wouldn't want him to be there the whole time knowing he is probably bored out of his mind, I probably wouldn't have a good time because I would feel like I needed to entertain him the whole time.

My FH planned to go golfing with his friends during the shower, but Covid made us cancel our plans. Traditionally bridal showers were just females, but now I don’t think it’s uncommon for showers to include the men especially if your doing a less traditional shower.
We have friends that had a “stock the bar” co-ed shower/party because they already live together and didn’t need house stuff. They didn’t do the traditional bridal shower type games because the groom vetoed anything cutesy lol, but everyone had a lot of fun. The couple met playing beer pong, so that was totally the vibe of the party, and it was perfect for them.

We had a coed shower and my wife attended. In my area (and most of the south) it's traditional for the groom to show up at the end with flowers for the bride and to thank everyone for attending.

My husband attended. We had it at a community clubhouse and there was a separate room with a pool table. He, his dad, and his grandfather hung out there and came over for food/presents and my husband also played the shoe game with me. So they were kind of in and out. I also felt like the presents were just as much his as mine so we opened them together.

He can.Typically the groom doesn't show unless he's attending a coed shower.

My fiancé was given instructions lol. My sister (MOH and hostess) told him what time to bring me. He came in with me, greeted our families, took a few pictures, and then he left. He picked me up about half an hour before the end of the shower with flowers, and then helped us clean up.

Mine was there the whole time. I tried to get him out of it, but his mom was hosting it and she insisted that he had to be there for at least part of it. In the end, I was glad to have him there, but I hate talking to people, so you may not feel the same way.
