Does Your Wedding Date Have A Special Meaning Behind It?

We're both huge baseball fans. So we had to do it outside of baseball season, that left march, feb, jan, dec, nov and the end of oct. I didn't want to do a winter wedding, so late October it was! We may push it back a few weeks so we can get a great deal to have the wedding at the Baseball Stadium....GO CARDs!!!

When I was a little girl I dreamed of getting married on December 10. My other weddings were not anywhere close to this date so this time (MY LAST TIME) I am going to marry on the date I dreamed of when I was little. The wedding will be huge also, just like it was in my dreams.

Our day is 8/5/12 thats our aniversary five years of being together . i love everyones stories about there dates .

We definitely wanted a date with significance to us.... my fiance wanted to get married on the anniversary of the day we met.... we got engaged nov 2010.... jan 28 fell on a Saturday in 2012the so that was it! Can't believe i'll be married in 3 months!

Well, we wanted Spring/early Summer. I wanted to make sure state testing would be over so I could get time off. We scratched May 5th since it's already a holiday for a lot of people. May 19th is my Dad's birthday. I thought it might be a way to honor him, but decided I didn't want to take his birthday! So, we went with the 12th.

Ours is special because its the holiday, so it'll be nice every year to celebrate our anniversary into the new year!

1 is my lucky number, so what better day to get married on then the day of all 1's. 11.11.11. And it just happens to be veteran's day so I'll also be marrying my veteran on veterans day!!

Our wedding date is September 9, 2012. FH's Sister was married on September 8th and just celebrated their 5 year anniversary this year. My Grandparents who were married for 65 years were married on September 10th. I wanted to share our wedding date with my Grandparents, but it's on a Monday in 2012.

The actual date of our wedding isn't super special but i've wanted to get married in October since i was old enough to remember.

We chose our date because it was a holiday weekend and everyone would be off on Monday! hhaha

Ours is the day before my soon to be in-laws anniversary. My FH lost his dad August of last year, and so we decided to choose the same weekend, his parents got married...So he can "be there to endjoy" it with us! @ first I didn't want to, becuase I didn't want my FMIL to have a rough weekend, but when we talked to her about it, she said she'd love nothing more and she thought that her husband would be proud! <3

Our original date was going to be 5/18/2013 since that is my FH's deceased grandfather's birthday but we just didn't want to wait until 2013 to get married so we chose another date in May 2012 since we just love that time of year. We are having a Catholic wedding so we did not want to have a Friday night ceremony with the full mass so that is why we didn't go with 5/18/2012.

Ours was random, were having a destination wedding and that week were celebrating birthdays Sunday through Thursday haha it just worked out perfect for everyone maid of honors BDay is Sunday , dads on Monday , brother inlaw on Tuesday , our wedding Wednesday, and FH grandma on Thursday haha I just love it.

Our original date was 6/9/12… multiples of 3, I thought it was cute, but every time I told someone the date they never caught on to it! We then picked 6/27/12 because we want a beach wedding and it was an available date… Now we are settled on July 6, 2012, which is the FH’s 30th Birthday!! So he gets to spend the big 3-0 in the Dominican Republic and he gets to marry me, LOL!!

I was in a really bad car accident in December after Christmas before New Years so we wanted to pick a date in December so that I think of something positive instead of the car accident, FH idea.

10-12-12:

10 - Symbolizes the years we've been dating by the time we get married.

12 (1 plus 2 = 3) = is my lucky number

12-12 (3 plus 3 = 6) = his lucky number and our dating anniversary day.

A little long, but it makes sense to us. LOL!

We wanted to get married on 07-06-12, it would have been our 10 years anniversary, but it didn't quite work out.

My daughter's baby shower was 15 March 2003 and her angel day is 15 March 2004. The month of October was her favorite because of Halloween so we chose 15 October 2011 as our wedding day.

It's my late grandfather's birthday. We were very close and I was named after him.
