There is no special meaning. We knew we wanted to get married in a winter month and 1/19/2019 had a nice ring to it. FH says it will be easy for him remember the date.

We got engaged January of this year. I really wanted to get married this year because I prefer 2018 over 2019 (i don’t know why lol). Our date is October 13th. 13 is my favorite number, my birthday is July 13th and our dating anniversary is November 13. When I saw October 13th was on a Saturday I knew it was meant to be!

We didn't choose it for this reason, but our date is the 11yr anniversary of my college graduation. It just happened to work out that way since we were looking for a Saturday in May that wasn't on Memorial Day weekend.

It's kind of cool to think about it now as a date that will symbolize really significant times in my life!

Ours is 10/20/18 we didn’t really plan for it to be special but it turns out it’s a rarely known holiday called “The sweetest day” apparently it was created by the candy companies in the 20s I think as kind of a knock off Valentine’s Day but either day I think it’s prettt cute

Not exactly. I've just always loved the month of July, that month has just always brought me joy for some reason. Our dating anniversary is July 2nd. We wanted to get married in 2018 but July 2nd is a Monday, and we didn't want a Monday wedding so we decided on July 27th because 7/2 is kinda similar to 7/27

We originally wanted to get married on NYE because that's the day we first officially started dating and its always been one of my favorite days, but our venues price was way too high to justify it. We knew we wanted to get married in the winter, so one of my friends suggest December 21st , the winter solstice and we thought that was just a great idea and very "us" so i contacted the venue and it was exactly how much we wanted to spend on the venue and the daily minimum was way less than what we planned for so it seemed perfect.

No. We found a venue we like and decided what month and day we would like to get married.

Our wedding date is the anniversary of the day we started dating. It worked out to fall on a Saturday a year and a half from when we got engaged so it was perfect. So we get to keep the same anniversary forever!

Yes! We are getting married April 07 (407)!
407 is my lucky number, I grew up showing horses competitively and when applicable I would ask for that number! I won my first blue ribbon, my first grand champion, and my regional maclay finals under that number, so to marry the man of my dreams on that day seemed perfect! Both of our parents got married inApril as well so it just fit Smiley smile

Our wedding date (11/10/2018) will also be our 8th dating anniversary. FH is terrible at remembering dates, but that is one that he always remembers... and it just so happened to fall on a Saturday this year, so it was a no brainer for us!

No special significance for our relationship-however it is the only date we both know 😂We weren't the couple that remembered what date we started dating, heck we didn't even remember what day we got engaged! I am not the type of sappy I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️The reason I wanted to get married on a 7th was because it's my favorite number, for luck, and rhymes with heaven 😂 Hence all the angel wings at my wedding. I wanted a 7th that landed on a Saturday, that also worked/went well with for the year. So I knew it had to be 2017. Picked October because January 7th was to close to the holidays for me.

No special significance of our date. It was just a date our venue had available in May. After we picked it we realized that the digits are the same as the area code FH grew up with.

Ours is the anniversary of our first date. Neither of us thought it would work out to be anything serious. But here we are with a Christmas Eve anniversary, and we wanted to keep it.

Our wedding day of October 12th, 2018 will be 3 days after our 6 year anniversary Smiley smile our options were the weekend before or the weekend after, and I thought the second week in October would be perfect in central Indiana for our rustic wedding. 💜

Ours doesn’t really have a special reason or meaning behind it. We just decided May was good for weather purposes.

No, our date didn't have any special significance to us when we booked it. We thought we'd get married on a Saturday, and wanted June since we both love the summer. But, we learned that our preferred venue required a higher minimum number of guests than we were planning to have, for a Saturday during prime wedding season.

So, we decided to book it for a Friday, and the one we booked was the only one left in June 1.5 years out (June 29). We were originally thinking around the 9th or 16th, and FH liked the 22nd since that's his favorite number.

We also didn't really want that date because my parents' anniversary is June 28, and we didn't want to infringe on that. But, they told us that they don't mind. And, now, we're looking at it as inspiration, since they will be married 49 years this year. We will just have to defer to them when it comes to anniversary celebrations in the future. (We'll be planning something big for them for their 50th next year.)

He asked me out on 10/4/16, proposed on 9/30/17, and we'll be married 10/6/18. I love that he kept it all around the same date because it's a rare glimpse of his sweet/sentimental side.
