Since we are getting married in what is hopefully a tropical paradise I’ll be sticking with the beach theme but won’t be getting married on the beach.

Yes. My fiancee's Father migrated to USA from Scotland. So I have chosen a Scottish Theme with bagpipes.

Spring - rustic chic with a hint of a romantic vibe? haha LOTS and lots of DIY, including a lace backdrop (with lights), homemade flower boxes for the ceremony and reception - to be filled with peonies and babysbreath. Wildflower garland and more flower boxes for the head table (reception), and more wildflower garland to accent the lace backdrop. Our colors are gray, blush pink and peach.

Thank you! It's a country club venue called Catta Verdera and it's beautiful! Here are some pics
Here's the ceremony site that has a long winding path to reach the aisle
This is where the cocktail hour will be held! Wisteria will be in bloom on the wedding day and it'll look gorgeous!
The reception ballroom! We love the rafters, chandeliers and rounded windows!

Harry Potter!! We're taking our inspiration from the Great Hall. We able to create floating candles and hang them in our venue, which was difficult to find, and we're planning to have a magical surprise for our first dance. we just want everyone to feel transported. i'm super excited about seeing our vision come together. it's going to be a magical night.

Of course! I was honestly thinking your venue was perfect with the fairytale part of your theme as well! The beamed wood cielings and ornate lighting gave it a very fairytale vibe to me, while still being rustic/vintage too!

We're going with the super-trendy, completely gorgeous Celestial theme. Of course, we also want to have our ceremony at the local Japanese garden AND I am pretty sure my dad will want to wear his kilt, so all in all, I really don't know for sure how on-theme it's going to end up. xD

We are doing a Modern Geo (Geometric) theme with Malibu Blue, Rose Gold, and White Marble colors. Our flowers are going to be tropical here's a pic. That was our engagement party invite we did to match our wedding theme.
