Dog as ring bearer?

Has anyone had experience having their dog as their ring bearer? Pros/cons? (The dog would be walked by someone of course). This idea isn't set in stone but we have a fur baby we would like to have in our outdoor wedding and I was just wanting to brainstorm some ideas! She would be 2 years old at...

Has anyone had experience having their dog as their ring bearer? Pros/cons? (The dog would be walked by someone of course). This idea isn't set in stone but we have a fur baby we would like to have in our outdoor wedding and I was just wanting to brainstorm some ideas!

She would be 2 years old at the time of the wedding- husky- well behaved and trained).

    Our venue said our dog would have to be in a crate for the rest of the evening, so we're not going to include her. Smiley sad

    We wanted this with our 2 dogs, but then realized it wasn't really a feasible idea. While both of them are great with people and well trained, we don't know how they'd do with a large group in an unfamiliar environment. On top of that, they aren't allowed in our church. We took some e-pics with them instead and that worked out great. FBIL came along (and we got a few nice shots of FH and FBIL to give to FMIL) and he took the dogs home after they were done.
