We have a house divided y’all. What are your thoughts on the dollar dance? A good tradition or greedy? A little late to the party but I've seen it done at multiple weddings and at each one it was just the immediate family and close friends paying and trying to get others to do it. Every time I stood there awkwardly. The last wedding I was at people stopped paying after 1 song so the groom and bride stood there looking so so awkward. If you really want it, then do it! But please note most people will just wait until they don't have to pay to dance with you, to well, dance with you!

Unless it is a culture thing, absolutely not! That's what a card box is for! If people want to give money, they can do so discretely and without any idea how much everyone is giving without pressure from those who aren't giving. It's enough that they're coming to the wedding.
