Dollar tree bouquets? October bride

Oct62018bride, on August 5, 2017 at 8:00 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 31

Has anyone made their bouquet from Dollar tree? I was looking at the fall flowers (my wedding is in october'18) and I actually thought they were really nice. I'm on a tight budget of course but I still don't want the bouquets looking too cheapy lol. I'm wondering if once their all arranged and done if anyone will even notice. I figured my bridesmaids would be able to keep them as well, not as part of their gift but something to have anyway lol

If you've made Dollar store bouquets and have pictures I'd love to see them Smiley smile

I got my flowers at hobby lobby and Michaels. If you're okay with how they look from dollar tree the only thing I will suggest is adding some extra glue where the flowers attach to the stems. You don't want the flower heads to fall off as you're walking down the isle!

Omg these pictures are such an inspiration. I've been debating if I should hire someone to do the bouquets, center pieces and the arch for the ceremony....

Loving these!!! Sunflowers are our centerpieces and my favorite, so I think I still want like one or two real sunflowers mixed in if I can get them lol

Dollar store flowers look cheap. It doesn't matter if they're diy or a professional dealing with silk flowers, they look cheap. If you're ok with that look then have at it but if you're aiming for a nicer bouquet that looks great in person, in photos, and can be saved/displayed long term choose quality silk flowers. Even going with a smaller bouquet made with inexpensive real flowers such as carnations or daisys would be a better option.

This is my bouquet I got it from afloral.com it was 40 dollars. However, there are some there that are like less than 10 bucks and super great quality and look and feel totally real.
