Hi folks - hoping for some advice on a failed domain renewal through Wedding Wire and suggestions on how to reclaim it/transfer it. Like many of you, I postponed my wedding and needed to make sure my wedding website remained live for another year or two. As WeddingWire instructed, I renewed my domain name a month before it expired and paid the required renewal fee. Today, I discovered that my domain was not in fact renewed. I emailed WW, but based on some similar forum posts, I don't have much faith in getting this issue resolved with them.
Has anyone had this issue successfully resolved? I'm curious to know if anyone has had success in retrieving their old domain they initially purchased through WeddingWire, or if anyone has been able to transfer or purchase their domain elsewhere (Wix or GoDaddy).
