Don't Like Your Engagement Ring?

Hi ladies. To those of you recently engaged/married congrats! Question for you. When your fi proposed and gave you your ring, did you like it? Or was it not the one you picked? I personally love my engagement ring. The reason why I am asking is because my fi told me that 2 of his clients were not pleased with there engagement rings. I personally think that the engagement ring is a symbol of love and commitment. Can a ring always be bigger or shiner? Of course. But I feel if it comes from the heart and he really tried, then what's the problem? If I didn't like my ring, I think I would grow to love it because of what it symbolizes. Unless it came from a crackerbox lol. What do you ladies think?

I never imagined having a 3 stoned ring but I also left it up to him to pick out my ring. I'm weird I know. I didn't want to pick it out. I had left alot of brochures with circles and X's but in reality I never really cared what the ring looked like. I was at the point in our relationship that I just wanted to be engaged no matter what ring he got and no matter how the proposal was. I'm in love with my ring. It means so much to me that he picked it out.

My ring is exactly what I always envisioned. I let FH know what I was looking for. It's just my style.

I'd love my ring if it came out of a Cracker Jack box!! I'm marrying my best friend, I couldn't ask for anything more.

My FH did ring shopping all by himself. He borrowed (took and returned and I didn't even know) a few rings that I was currently wearing. I LOVE my ring. He wanted to get me a larger stone which would have been a custom build but he didn't want to lose the day he wanted to propose. He gave me a choice after of alternate rings and asked if I wanted a larger stone. I told him there was no way I was giving the ring that he spent so much time finding back. The sentiment meant alot to me...it took him a long time to get to this point.
