Donut Centerpiece

I am having a Coffee themed wedding. I really like the donut hole centerpieces and donuts with coordinating wedding colors. Has anyone done this? Or edible centerpieces??? Pros vs Cons? Any opinions as a guest would be appreciated as well. I want to incorporate some floral and candles as well....

    I also suggest local teas and fancy tea like the blossom one that opens up. You could have little hard cookies for dipping, creamer station...ahhh the endless possibilities
