Double wedding band

So we recently purchased our wedding bands. I wanted two that I am keeping separate. I will have them on either side of my engagement ring. I want to use only one in the ceremony.....but when would be a good time to put on the second one? I want it on for the after pics. Any ladies ever done this? How did you do it?

    You can just give it to your MOH and have her give it to you at the reception

    I am also having double bands but I got mine soldered before (won’t wear it until the wedding of course) because my FH said it will be easier to put on on the spot. But that is just him. Smiley smile

    I plan to wear one behind my engagement ring, then have FH put the second one on during the ceremony.

    I thought about soldering but I believe it can devalue the rings. And I would someday like to pass them down.

    One of my closest friends just got married and had two hands as well. Her hubby put them both on at the wedding and the officiant said something special when referring to more than one band. I wish I remembered!

    Same. I am going to wear my engagement ring and second band on my right hand during the ceremony, and will just move them over to my left hand afterwards.
