Doughnut Wall Rental?

A., on January 6, 2018 at 10:51 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

Hi ladies! Wondering where I can rent a doughnut wall in the NYC/Long Island area? I’m having a wedding in Brooklyn, and I am having a hard time finding anyone who has a doughnut wall for rent - thanks!

I don’t understand. Is this an edible donut wall? How would you rent something edible...how would you give it back

Ughhh please don’t do this! I’ve seen one of these at a shower once and they end up looking gross; all I could think of, is who put those there, did they wear gloves, and how many people touched them when they were getting theirs - overall the real deal just comes off looking unsanitary instead of cool. Now don’t get me wrong I love the idea of having donuts! But for some reason the wall just looks unappealing and super messy (especially when they start falling of the nails) go for a donut bar table instead...

Just googled a Doughnut Bar Table and it's the same exact thing except it's sitting on a table instead of standing upright? ..

No exactly! Idk what it is, but the wall thing just looks less santiary - at least with a table you can have tongs to grab then, rather than with a wall people will just have to pick them up, and look for a napkin or plate somewhere else because where will that hang on the wall? All I can picture with a wall is kids running up and going nuts - my little nephew who has just started walking, would be licking all those donuts, as soon as he could make a break for it lol. I guess with the wall I also think about the donuts thats are close to the ground - and I don’t know about you, but I definitely wouldn’t be grabbing for one thats on the bottom, but hey I’m a little ocd. Not trying to knock your vision because I seriously LOVE the idea of having donuts, but just not hanging on some weird wall that who knows what else has hung up on it? Idk a table just seems more santiary but I like the idea of trays and tiers rather than the sticks, so that people can grab them easier with serving tongs, instead of hands....

Oh, okay, i see where you are coming from - that's what i was thinking when i first saw the donut wall on pinterest - mixed feelings! i like the way that it looks, but i also went to a wedding and it was something that people looked at, rather than eating the donuts.

My reception will be inside, but one time i went to a wedding and the donut wall was outside - flies were eating the donuts! it was gross, lol.

Taking the Donut Bar into consideration now - thanks!!

Yes,the flies thing is something else to consider - but at least if its indoors that helps. But I’m glad I could help though. The first time I saw the donut wall on Pinterest, I thought it was cool but then when I went to the shower that had one, I was totally turned off by the idea! We are doing some type of food bar at our wedding and donuts is definitely on our list!

The wedding I went to that had one (indoor) the donuts weren’t on the wall long enough to get nasty or stale - it wasn’t a peg wall...people ate them and they were delicious
