How far in advance do I have to book my hotel (the one I'm getting ready at)?

Any recommendations, as far as, which has the floor to ceiling windows, neutral decor (no orange carpets please lol), most economic?

    Hi Marie!

If you had a specific hotel in mind, I would advise you to book it as soon as possible so you’re not disappointed if there are no rooms available when you go to book.

For starting your search, I would definitely check out websites like TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Trivago, etc. The customer reviews on those sites are typically excellent and should give you some further insights!

    Where is your wedding venue?

I'm getting married 5/9/2020 and have already blocked rooms at the Aloft Mag Mile. The price was fantastic and the location worked well for us as we are getting married at the Chicago Sports Museum. I would suggest using the 'hotel blocks' under 'planning tools' to get an idea of rates and where you might want to stay / what is available as well.

    Hi Anne,

I am not looking for room blocks, I have some by the venue already. I am looking for 2 rooms for bride and groom & their party to get ready in before the wedding, close to the church. Do you think I can find there under the hotel blocks in the planning tool?

    PS

How did you like Aloft? Plenty of light, windows, room?

I haven’t actually been to that exact Aloft hotel yet, I live in Michigan currently but have stayed at other Aloft hotels previously and they are very nice. I believe the hotel block tool lets you search for multi-purpose rooms as well but I can’t remember off the top of my head sorry!
