Draping an arch

What is the best fabric to drape an arch with? I was deciding between organza or chiffon but would like to know of any other (better) options.

If anyone has done it, how much did you need?

    It's a blurry picture but this is the actual arch at the venue. I had to zoom in so its not clear. I can't get measurements until tomorrow.

    I used chiffon on my backdrop. Ours isn't draped but it was easy to work with. ETA I would take a flat bedsheet and get an idea on length from there.
