I had been planning on doing these for months, and I'm so in love with how all my sola flower bouquets came out! The bouquets are actually simple to put together, but definitely time consuming. I spent a good couple of hours just on the handles over the last couple days. I spent Saturday with 4 of my bridesmaid and they helped a ton with stemming the flowers. I also let them arrange their own bouquet to make it a bit more special.

I spent roughly $200 total. This included about $90 worth of sola flowers, $50 in filler flowers, and the rest in supplies (such as floral tape, wire stems, hot glue, etc) and shipping costs. With that, I was able to create my bouquet, my toss bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 7 boutonnieres, 2 corsages, and 13 arrangements for my centerpieces, and 10 flowers left over. I averaged out the costs to be about $22 for my bouquet, and $7/ea for the BMs bouquets. The centerpieces aren't finished to show, but I will when they are complete.

Hey lady!! these are gorgeous!! Now I am thinking on just doing this instead of ordering mine from Costco and arranging it a few days prior to my wedding. Can you give me tips/ advise on how to do it?

Did you have another post on your centerpieces? Or do you have pictures of the finished product?

I don't have my centerpieces fully complete but I do have the flowers completely done! I spray painted mason jars to a mint color. I also made my own crates using paint stirrers (the staples in the photo are now painted brown so they don't stand out as much). The crates will sit on ivory table cloths and lace runners.

I'm currently working on my tin can candle holders. Two of these will sit next to each mason jar Smiley smile

And thanks everyone for the compliments! I recommend doing these flowers to everyone who has the time. I loved being able to customize the colors and arrange them just how I wanted!

So beautiful! Did you follow a tutorial or just wing it? I want to make mine but I'm afraid I'll mess them up!

How did you attach the stems? Did you use just hot glue or did you poke the stem into the flower? I'm using sola flowers but I'm struggling with this part.

They came out beautiful! Did you ordered them already colored or you colored them yourself?

Those are absolutely stunning! I came across sola flowers recently, and was hoping to be able to do them myself. You have given me hope!

Did you have to dye them yourself? And what did you use for stems? I've never worked with them before, so I'm not sure how you could put a stem on.

Here is a link to another thread of the dying and stemming process: https://m.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/diy-sola-bouquets-centerpieces-step-1-dying-process/d9fbe00e7a17c95e?

My wedding was back in April and sola flowers was probably my favorite decision I made. Here are some of the pro pics with my bouquet!

Hi, these look awesome! Any chance you remember how many flowers you got in total and what sizes you got? What did you use for fillers/greenery? Thanks!
