Dream wedding vs saving money

My dream wedding would've included real flowers and greenery and an abundance of them throughout the venue, but I'd rather funnel my money into hosting the guests well and feeding and providing entertainment more than decorating for picture purposes.

The other thing would be to have been able to hire someone to do everything for me rather than me worrying about the DIYs and the logistics of everything.

Same here! Doing your research and haggling with your vendors really does pay off!!

We're having a destination elopement in Hawaii with immediate family and then holding a private luau event for our guests to help us celebrate! I've had a completely different idea on what I THOUGHT was my "dream" wedding but after going through all the planning and everything, I realized that I just want the perfect wedding.

Sorry idk what happened! But I was trying to finish my saying, sometimes your dream wedding can be completely different in the long run and be even better than you imagined it the first time.
