Dress anxiety still....3 months after purchase

Anyone else have this problem? I love my dress, I do, but I'm not 100% sure it's me or the look I want. I have continued to think about the very first dress I fell in love with on my 2nd shopping trip. I know it's a HUGE no no, but I'm going to try it on again tomorrow night at another shop. Anyone...

Anyone else have dress anxiety for months after purchasing their dress?

Working in a bridal store, we see brides with your dilemma every now and again. I think every brides experiences a li'l "buyer's remorse" but sometimes they really have picked the wrong dress for one reason or another. I would advise that you be VERY sure that you don't love the dress you've already picked. I'm sure you're aware of the financial hit you can take by changing your mind. That being said, you should absolutely have the dress of your dreams for your big day. If you love another dress, then go for it! I've had brides change their minds as late as 3 days before the wedding! But brides who change their minds rarely regret it; they ususally know they've made a mistake. It never hurts to ask the salon if they can work with you on purchasing another dress - just be prepared if the answer is "no." Once you make a decision, don't think about another dress! Just get ready to enjoy your big day. Best wishes for your wedding. We know you're going to look spectacular!

I bought a second dress and I am much happier. But since I have gone with the second dress I always have to look at the new one on my phone to make sure I am in love with it. Looking at magazines and watching Say yes to the dress have gotten me so paranoid that I don't like my new dress anymore. At the end of the day, I love the second dress a hell of a lot more than the first one.

I am in LOVE with your dress #1! It looks great on your figure. I can totally relate to your trouble! I haven't bought a dress yet. I have been to 6 appointments and probably tried on at least 30 dresses Smiley sad ....it feels like I am never going to find one.....

Agg, same feeling here.. struggling with the same thing right now too. I will say though, that Dress #1 is Beautiful! Choose whatever you feel most confident, beautiful in. Because it'll be YOUR day. ( and hubby's too....lol)

I really have to be honest here... I think whatever you decide to wear (with in reason) will look sensational. Think about your WHOLE day, since I follow brides around on a regular basis, I can tell you that you need functionality too, the original choice #1 will be much easier to sit down, dance, walk ETC in. Remember you are probably going to do a lot of getting up and sitting down!! You'll sit down and then one minute later you'll need to get up and shake a hand or give a hug. It just is!

I like dress number two as well as the first one. I would test out moving around in them, esp. if you plan on dancing a lot.

Both dresses are beautiful. Don't second guess yourself you are just going to stress yourself out. You fell in love with the dress and bought it, chances are its the one. I felt the same way about my dress but everytime I try it on my second guessing it goes out the window. Trust your gut!!!

I think dress number 1 is absolutely gorgeous! Very sophisticated, almost looks like a designer dress a star would wear!

I went through the same thing. Then a salesgirl told me I bought the first one for a reason, to try it on again. I had the same feeling when I tried it on and never looked back! Good luck!
