So I just got an email from the owner of the boutique I got my dress from with a few photos of some changes that the dress designer recommends. I have a dress and a cape that usually don’t go together and the designer wants to know if I want to change the top of the cape to match my dress, instead of having different lace patterns and I have no idea what to do. In my head it looks good but the picture doesn’t look very good, but it’s also not done so I’m really nervous about it. What do you think? You can see the dress and cape on my profile.

Well here is what the new cape would look like. I am waiting to hear back to find out if the neckline would be like this or straight like the old cape.

So here’s the dress with the cape, without the cape, and the proposed new cape. I’m waiting to find out if the neckline in the new cape would be the same as the original. Sorry I should’ve posted them in the first post lol

Personally, I like the way the new one looks! It definitely ties in better with the top of your dress. I think the neckline is pretty also! I'd definitely go with her recommendations Your dress is gorgeous by the way!

I would update it to the new matching just because you wont have the clash in detail in your up close wedding pictures! Love the cape though very pretty with your dress
