Dress Duels: Belt or No Belt?

No belts for me. . .nothing that cuts me in half. . .only 5' tall, need all the help i can get!

I think it depends on the dress and the bride's body type. I like how a belt makes your waist look smaller than it is, and I think if my dress didn't do such a good job slimming me down, I would've gotten a belt to go with it.

It depends on the dress. Some dresses the belt enhances it while others its just too much.

I personally don't like the belt. But if my dress was simple enough I'm sure I would add one to give it an extra pop

I like the belt. It separates your waist. even in a wedding gown, it can be unclear depending on how it's made. That said I won't need one because of the way my dress is designed.

I can't decide for my dress...I like the simple look but I have a short waist and I'm 5'1 so it breaks it up a bit.

This one is hard.. I think a simple dress sometimes needs a belt.. but a dress with more bling doesn't need one.
