I'm a mixture of both. My dress style is very traditional but has some trendy additions like a scalloped train, sweetheart/illusion neckline, etc.

Why not both!?!? And can’t trendy be timeless? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Love the 2020 trends! Pearls, flower crowns, and so much more. My dress looks like something out of a great Gatsby fantasy

Trendy I guess. But I won't go for something just because it's the new in thing. I have to genuinely like it on it's own merits, not because I'm keeping up appearances.

I think there’s a way to incorporate trendy/modern elements into a timeless dress. But if I had to be a purist, I would choose timeless

My dress is both timeless and elegant with the beaded lace, but also has some trend to it—like the keyhole back and illusion off-the-shoulder cap sleeves.

Timeless. I would hate to look back on my wedding pictures to see my dress and laugh at it. I chose a dress that was timeless, but still my style.
