I am currently planning my wedding in the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean next year. I am using Celebrations (www.celebrationsltd.com)

, a wedding planning company to do the design and decor. So far they have been brilliant and the planner they have assigned to me has been amazing.

I am still unsure about the dress though. I would love to hear from anyone who has any advice on the style of wedding dress i should use for a beach wedding?

    There are a ton of websites I am sure you could visit. But my suggestion, with prom season coming up, is to check out stores that carry a large selection of prom dresses. Many girls wear white to the prom and I am sure you could find a great dress for a good price. Even stores carry a wide range of dresses that I am sure would look great for a beach wedding. I remember seeing a wonderful ivory dress at a Ross store near my house that was light weight and beautiful on, and it was only $30. I would check those stores out as well (TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, etc.)

    Whatever you do..a veil is NOT a good option because the wind may whip it in your face. On the other hand that can make for some fun, spontaneous shots lol !

    Thank you both for the advice. I realize three months is *very* short for planning a wedding, but we are both flexible so we're gonna go with that for now. Thankfully, I don't think we will have quit the problem with venues as we would if we lived in a different area and I realize that may affect our timing.
