dress regret

I've second guessed almost everything that I've done so far. Venues, themes, colors, etc etc. I'm learning to let things go and go with my gut when it comes to wedding planning-otherwise I'm going to drive myself crazy with all the back and forth

View Quoted Comment The second dress isn’t an option. I tried that dress on 2 years ago. And when I went dress shopping a few months ago I couldn’t find a dress like that one. I was also worried about being uncomfortable with a strapless. And the reason I looked more relaxed in the 2nd dress was my sister didn’t tell me she was taking the pick vs the other one I was aware and felt awkward lol.

Following. This is the dress I bought in December (it'll be a brighter white and ivory color)

- it's set to arrive at the end of May and then I'll have fittings until September. I don't love it...then again I didn't love any of the dresses I tried on (well over 40) however I also refused to increase my budget. I settled and it'll be okay. It's fitting for the ceremony and reception spaces.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE DRESS #2. In my opinion, the more sparkle the better!!

I didn't necessarily have dress regret, I had massive jacket regret. I always wanted a wedding dress with sleeves but couldn't find anything in my budget range, so I bought this mesh/chiffon jacket to wear. I felt *eh* about it when wearing it, LOVED my dress, but settled for this jacket that felt so informal but I figured I could just deal with it. Time went on and I felt so heartbroken about how it looked, I did not want to wear it during my ceremony and did NOT want any formal pictures of me wearing it. I did some digging online and found a dress topper and fell in love IMMEDIATELY. It made my dress what I wanted it to be. So I guess my point is, is there anything about the dress you can slightly tweak to make it fit your style? Change up the straps a bit? Add straps? Add a belt? Pic #1 is the jacket, pic #2 is the dress topper that I altered to make the final product.
