I chose the Allure Disney Collection Snow White dress. I believe the florals on it were supposed to be apple blossoms! 😍
I ended up having the company raise the back instead of an open V so I could have more florals 😁

this was my runner up dress. I loved it and felt like a princess and loved that the sleeves were removeable. BUT i wasn't in love with the sleeves and I knew I didn't just want a strapless dress, but I loved the details and the cut and the train.

I love the florals on it, great idea to raise the back to get more of the floral pattern! I love how some designers are totally open for customization on their dresses. There were a couple for me, I just realized I didn't share mine! I'll post a few of mine in this thread shortly.

Here are a couple dresses I tried on that were a definite NO from me!! The ball gown was way too much dress for me, and the dress with 3-D flowers just ended up looking way differently on me than it did on the hanger (and I didn't want a strapless dress, and I didn't like the straps that were available to be added).



These two dresses were my "almost" dresses! The first one ended up being a no because it was way too big (this dress was an off-the-rack dress), and alterations to take in the sides would have been super expensive due to all the beading that would also need to be moved. The second one was right at the top of my price range, and I didn't know if I loved it enough to spend the money on it.

All the "rejects" are beautiful! Here is one of mine. I didn't like the mermaid style of this dress. It was too difficult to move around in.

I’m glad to find the one, even though I didn’t love it when I see it on the hanger. Thanks to the experienced sales person, convinced me to try what I didn’t like, and turned out I love it so much on me.

View Quoted Comment I totally understand mermaid being difficult to walk in! My ceremony dress was originally a mermaid, but I ended up having alterations switch it to a trumpet/slim A-line style instead. When I originally tried it on, the sample dress was a much larger size than what I ordered, so I had no issues walking in the sample dress. When it arrived in my size, I could barely walk! But I loved how it turned out after alterations, and I could walk comfortably.


The beading on this dress is beautiful!! I also love the style at the bottom of the dress. If it weren't for the mermaid style, do you think this otherwise would have been your dress?
