Dress Shopping During Covid-19

Me too. I actually had dress appointments in March that I ended up cancelling. My wedding is next March. Most bridal shops recommend purchasing your dress 8-10 months out so if you are able to shop by August or so you should be fine. David's Bridal and Azazie (and others) have some try at home options. It's not the route I want to go, but I'm keeping it as a backup. You should definitely reach out to a few bridal shops in your area. Some are offering online shopping, and others are extending hours and doubling up appointments so they can help more brides when they open.

I am having a dress issue as well and my wedding is this November. If you know what elements you want in a dress you can actually have a custom dress made by "Anomalie". They create sketches of what type of dress you describe, send you swatches of the fabrics so you can physically see and feel them, and once you decide if you love what you and your personal designer come up with, they custom design your dress and ship it to you. I am trying it right now seeing as all of the boutiques are closed. You can look them up and see all of the details of the process, price points, etc. Best of luck love.

I don’t think azazie has their try at home program right now. Most of the dresses say be back soon and on the last update of the app this is what it says. Just a heads up.

Yeah my wedding is going to be in April of next year and I’m having the same issue! I will consider the try at home options maybe if this whole stay at home order gets extended even further, but I am really holding onto hope that I will be able to have the experience of going dress shopping with my mom and close friend, as I think it’s really special.
