Dress shopping under $500?

If you're open to pre owned dresses, you can check Stillwhite.com. That's where I got my dress and I absolutely love it. Some dresses still have the tag attached/never been worn.

My dress was $399 (plus underthings, alterations, taxes, etc.) - got it at David's - people have mixed experiences with them, but the store I went to was great.

I recommend looking at goodwill or thrift stores.

You might try looking at bridal shops outside KC or opt for a sample dress. I live in Lawrence, and that is where I bought my dress (J. Lynn Bridal downtown). I think I got way more for my money than if I had looked in the KC, and they were great at working within my budget. So I definitely recommend checking them out if you don’t mind the drive!

$500 is a pretty low budget for a wedding dress. I would focus on sample sales and pre-owned stuff, even look on FB marketplace.

another idea is looking for something alternative to wedding gowns. my dress was actually an evening gown i got and it looked just like a wedding gown. so maybe think about white or ivory evening gowns, bridesmaid dresses, etc. it would certainly cut the costs because it is not in the wedding category

Try BHLDN! If that is your style, I think they have some beautiful designer dresses in your price range. Also, look at Lulu's, JJ's House.

Try online with one of the dress stores or see if any stores in your area are having a black friday or cyber monday sale
