Anyone ever go dress shopping just to get an idea on what you like/don’t like and to get a better feel for what styles look good on your body type? I went with my mom two months ago and surprised myself with how much I liked long sleeves. I’m having an intimate October 2020 wedding at a covered, outdoor venue in Philadelphia so sleeves can totally work.

I’ve attached a photo of my venue and two potential dress options that I tried on and can’t stop thinking about. Would love to hear some feedback!

    I ADORE the second one! They both have nice trains but for your venue....that second one is PHENOMENAL!! I think its slightly more flattering as well. Do you have pictures of the front?! I have to admit, I have a bit of dress envy with that second dress! Absolutely STUNNING train! Smiley heart

    Yep I wanted a custom made dress but my mom wanted the experience of seeing me try on dress and I also wanted to get a feel of what type of shape would look good on me. Ended up falling in love with a dress and tossed the whole custom made dress idea out the window 😂😂. The designer was there and said he’d make any customizations I want because he wanted me to get the dress lol. The top picture is stunning! Love that dress on you.

    I’m getting married this October at an outdoor, covered venue and my dress has long sleeves so we’re on the same wavelength! I think the second is amazing. That train is beautiful

    I love the look of long sleeves - especially when the dress also has a low back or illusion netting! It's a great combo!

    That first dress is amazing!! My wedding will be in August so most likely very hot, I LOVE sleeved dresses but that was not an option for me.
