Dress straps

If the straps are digging in, the bodice is probably not fitted properly. Have you gotten it altered yet? The seamstress should be able to tighten the fit of the bodice so that more of the supposed comes from that and reduces tension on the straps.

Hi there, I feel like I’d have to see a picture of the dress to properly advise but you’d either need to go strapless or add thicker straps. Either way unfortunately if it’s a heavy dress you’re going to feel it in the straps on some level. Don’t let anyone tell you to alter it into a halter dress, that will hurt your neck all night, imagine that weight on your neck
