Dress to Romper

Jessica, on December 26, 2019 at 10:35 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7
Hello! I am newly engaged but starting to look for my wedding dress. I am looking for a dress that is a ball gown but had a tear away skirt with a romper for under for the reception. Does anyone know of any places that would sell something like this?

I would have no idea wear to start on this but I would assume it would have to be a custom made outfit. I would suggest starting off with looking for the romper or wedding suit then having a custom made long skirt to go with it and buttoning around your waist for easy removal.

Here are a few romper outfits with trains I found just doing a google search that might give you some ideas. Good luck!

I’m a huge fan of Say Yes to the Dress and Nik West ( a musician) wanted something similar to what you’re describing! She ended getting something custom (I know that gets expensive) but the designers of Lakum made her vision come to life!
I believe they had some that weren’t custom. I don’t know if they are exclusively a Kleinfeld's distributor or not. I hope this helps!

I would look around to different boutiques. You might have to go to different places to find the right one for you.

Designer Hayley Paige makes ballgowns that convert to cocktail dresses and or rompers. Call some stores to see if they carry her stuff. Check her out on IG, @blushbyhayley or @misshayleypaige

I think you could find a detachable skirt easily! Try Amazon but I'd also think bridal boutiques have that
