Dropped waist wedding dress on short brides??

I really want to wear this dress for my wedding but I’m afraid that the dropped waist might make me look shorter...I’m 5’1” and I have a short torso but I’m thinking the tight bodice and belt might help??

Any short brides with a dropped waist wedding gown?? Pictures please!! I would love to see!

I am your height and I opted for the opposite. The empire waist. The drop waists I tried on looked fine I was just not comfortable in them. I don’t think they made me look shorter but the empire made me look taller!
