Drying Gerbera Daisies?

Asheyna, on April 9, 2013 at 1:25 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 3

Having a flower dilemma. I realized I need to hurry up and place my order. But now I have to pick between roses and geberas (maybe).

I want to be able to dry my bouquet after. And I love Gerbera Daisies. Can they be dried? I know roses dry well. But daisies are the ones that FH gives me when he buys me flowers so I like the idea of using them.

I honestly would get them in real touch at hobbylobby, daisies don't dry well. look into freeze drying them.

Yes you can dry flowers in a product called Silica Gel they sell one specifically for drying flowers However you will have deconstruct your bouquet to do so then re design after the process I found a pic to demonstrate how it works.
