Dye bridesmaid dress

Hi ladies! Has anyone attempted DYe bridesmaid dress? I bought a David's bridal dress on ebay and it's a light gray but I need it a little darker. U have called around and no one can do it

    I would only do it if it was a simple dress and I was great at sewing.

    Oh dye a dress. No I would never try that and I have never heard of it.

    p.s I would change the title of this post to dye not DIY and edit it in the post so other know what you mean.

    A lot of formal wear fabrics don't hold dye evenly, so dyeing them is not really recommended.

    Can you not use as is? I think it would be okay if you used one shade of gray for your bridesmaid dresses and another shade for decor, groomsmen attire, etc. . .
