Eco Friendly Petals & Confetti for Beach Wedding

NLeo, on January 4, 2014 at 10:24 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 3

I just found out there is eco-friendly confetti to toss at a beach wedding. I'm excited! Has anyone heard of eco-friendly flower petals to drop down the aisle? I did a search but all that comes up is dried flower petals.

I would think that real flowers would be considered eco-friendly. They might be messy, but they're still biodegradable.

MissMadeline- ha! I didn't even think of that.

Anyone know how long real flower petals would last? Can I buy them almost a week before the wedding and throw them in a zip lock bag or something to travel with? Would they wilt too much?

I read that you can put them in plastic bags and refrigerate them for up to 7 days. Not entirely sure though. Maybe try calling a local florist about it.
