Edible center pieces?

This is such a unique idea. Love it!

This is kind of what I was thinking time line wise... Ceremony then everyone kind of makes their way inside to their seats maybe grabs a drink on the way. They have there little personal table app center pieces to eat on then we get announced as husband and wife, do first dance, mother son dance, me and my mom, a quick thank you speech from us, cut cake, dance floor opens up & food trucks start serving food for like 2.5/3 hours. People can hit up dance floor play some games outside, check out the photo stall. Ice cream truck will come wedding bundt cake will be served and candy bar will be rolled out. Maybe get a little fire going at dark have nonstop music and just have fun... So no real "cocktail hour"

So cool!! I LOVE this idea and am jealous I didn’t think of it myself haha. I’ve never seen anything like this, it would be so unique!

I love this idea too! I'm having some canapes as part of my centerpieces as well. One thing to keep in mind, though, is the size of your tables. With a 60" round most people should be able to reach towards the middle okay. With a 72" round you'd probably have to stand to grab a bite. I'm doing rectangular tables, so it'll be very easy for folks to grab their bites.

Seems interesting. But if you’re not having a cocktail hour, I assume that guests would instead sit down at their tables and food service would begin with the first course of a soup/salad etc. So I don’t know that the appetizers in the center are also needed. But, I’m sure if it’s sitting there, some people will eat it. Personally I wouldn’t want to do that much reaching to the center of the table especially with the glassware and such. When people have to pass the butter or salad dressing at a filled table, it’s already hassle enough.

I love this idea! Especially being a nursing mama of two toddlers, I always have the munchies haha. This is definitely a practical idea!

This is such a good idea, I really love it. I would go more with meat and cheese platters rather then veggies. But that just me 😊
