Edit Guest List

Hi Andrew! We recommend trying to make these updates to your Guest List from a computer to see if that gives you any trouble. You can also update or remove meal options with the following steps:

- Login to your WeddingWire account

- Hover your cursor over 'Planning Tools' and click ‘Guest List' from the drop down options

- Click into the wedding event you would like to disable meal tracking for

- Click the blue 'Settings' text on the right side of the screen

- Uncheck the box next to 'Track Meals' and click the blue 'Save' button

So once you’ve entered a guest and assigned them as wedding, you can’t edit that via the app, but it can be done via computer/full website?

also I don’t mind tracking meals, that would be useful, but it’s defaulted to chicken beef fish lamb veggie, etc. what if fish and lamb aren’t an option that we want to offer, but do want to track beef and chicken and vegetarian?

im doing all my planning through the app on my phone because it’s with me wherever I go. If I need to go to full website to do these edits that’s fine I guess, just not sure.

Hi Andrew! You can update a guest's event within the app as well, some couples just find it a bit easier on the full version of WeddingWire from a computer. You can also edit, remove or add meal options by heading to the wedding event you would like to update and then tapping the blue 'Settings' text at the top of the page.

I am on a desktop computer and I want to edit guest names to shorten them for the purpose of designing my seating chart....I can edit but it doesn't save.

Also, I can't send a message to the Virtual Assistant....I can use one of the auto reply options, but I can't type in the message area...it is grayed out.
