Edited: How to make 4x9 Pocket Folds

Maci, on April 21, 2012 at 1:35 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8

My invites are boarding pass style, and are 4x9. All the ones I have found aren't long enough. I really don't like how they look if I shorten them and I don't want them to stick out either.

I've checked out cardsandpockets.com and the min. they will allow me to order of the ones I can use are 100 and that's gonna cost $193+ shipping. I don't need more than 50.

Do you have an envelope size that will fit everything?

If you do, then I know there are some girls on here who have DIY pocketfold templates. I ordered mine from Cards and Pockets but they were standard A7 size.

I did see some pocketfold invites at JoAnn and Michaels and somewhere else random the other day - Staples or OfficeMax maybe? I think they were standard size but still.

I don't want to DIY the pocket folds if possible. I am doing a ton of other DIY things and I really don't want to add another thing to the list.

I'm using this website for my envelopes, but I'm not sure if they have what you're looking for:

Partly Cloudy: I've checked paper and more and they didn't have the size I need.

Here are some, they say 4x9 but are actually a little smaller (can you cut your invites down a lil bit?) They also let you order the amount you need:

I have the same problem. It is too small for the size 10 envelope. I found the size 4 1/2 and 9 1/8 (size 10) envelope at Amazon but I will be making the pocket envelope to put inside this #10 envelope
