Edited my own wedding highlight video!!! #Proud

This is awesome! The only thing that bothered my eyes were the quick and constant transitions...but scrolling on my phone bothers my eyes too, so that could just be a personal problem. But I get why you did that...you were able to cram SO MUCH into one video, so that's great! I'm definitely one of those who would rather just pay someone to do it haha

Thanks KM for the feedback. I appreciate it. Wish I actually had more money to put into this. I opted to putting the money on a photographer and other things since it was a WANT vs. a need. There was also so much footage to choose from and plus a very short song to work around with. Oh well..but thanks I love doing this stuff.

Oh definitely. The only regret I have is that I paid SO much for my video (the edited video will be about 8 minutes long) but didn't have it in my budget to get all of the footage. I'm hoping he can save my footage and I can pay for a longer video down the road.

Yeah and my rationale was I will most likely look at pictures more than videos. I also have a lot of I wish..oh well. I used to think that if I had 5k, I would have the best princess wedding ever...ha ha ha..good luck with that nowadays. Lucky my husband was so supportive.

Derek - we just used two Digital SLRs, (one mobile and one stationary). The stationary helps for things that may be missed. Also - I would encourage that everyone that takes personal videos from their cell also send the footage to you. It's always nice to capture from an audience point of view. With camera phones nowadays, the quality actually isn't bad at all. Message me privately and I can give you a recommendation. The person that did this for me is actually a personal friend and specializes more on commercial videos rather than weddings. I know someone actually cheaper and would capture a wedding way better.

That's awesome you're from Hawaii, where on Oahu? We live in the Kapahulu/Kaimuki area near the Ala Wai Golf Course. Oahu is a great place minus the traffic! Your dessert is solo super cute! We're actually giving out cookies from Honolulu Cookie Co as our favors (the pineapple shaped ones). I love that you brought some tropical touches!

Thanks Kemmie - I do a lot of non-profit fundraising events and always had a knack in event management and planning. It was a dream...I didn't think it would all come together. Happy in Hawaii - wow...love the cookies. We did an edible chocolate menu for our dinner. Worked two folds: menu and favor..it was a nice added touch. P.S...I love your water profile pic...i tried to do the similar pic (see my profile)...but love the drama of yours..
