Elements/touches of a Catholic Ceremony?

Chantelle, on May 12, 2020 at 1:40 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 1
Hello, our ceremony most likely will be short and sweet composed of personal vows, some prayers/readings, and unity segment type thing. Do the prayers/readings that we and our officiant incorporate into the ceremony cover all my bases on adding religious touches? Like it covers Catholicism and Christianity?

I’m wondering if there are any specific things that catholic weddings have that are completely different from Christian weddings. Or do the prayers/readings, cover most of Christianity touches, including Catholicism. Thanks!

Technically unity candles are not a Catholic tradition, though they have no problem with it and many couples do it. Catholic weddings are centered around a Mass with readings, and there also is an option of presenting flowers to Mary. I think your combo sounds good Smiley smile
