Anyone decide to elope in a mountainous area? If so, where? Glacier Park in Montana, Washington, Canada?? Our entire plan may have just changed...

    We're planning on going to Glacier National Park ceremony in Lake McDonald. We havnt planned and booked anything yet but I have potential vendors picked out. Our guest list will consist of parents, grandparents and 2 close friends standing up with us 1 on each side for a total of 10 guests if everyone rsvps yes. I'm excited to plan.

    This is where we are thinking! Now to decide whether it is just us or immediate family as well. Our family is so split that it might be awkward to have everyone together in such an intimate ceremony, so it may just be us! I’m looking at “many glacier”. What time of year are you going?

    When I got married the first time we eloped to Lake Tahoe and got married overlooking Emerald Bay. It was gorgeous. But very windy.

    His family is split so there may be a small awkwardness but they will have to tough it through and well my parents are still together and I'm an only child so there's no way its going to be just us because I'm really close to my parents. Both of us like to hunt and I would love a fall wedding but thats not an option so we are planning on June. Now June where I live is nice perfect weather and in Montana its a hit or miss, a few years ago they had TONS of snow all the way into almost July so that makes me worried a little. So we will see.     We've postponed our wedding a few times but I want this to be the last July. I actually have it planned to be on our 11 year dating anniversary
