Over the past few days, I have started to think that maybe a real wedding just isn't for us. We aren't that "showey lovey" kind of couple, we can't even think of more than 50 people we would want to invite, and we have so many other financial responsibilities within the next year, I can't even wrap my head around even squeezing $10,000 out of our paychecks to get married on. My car is 11 years old, our student loans are amounting to the cost of a very nice luxury car, I need braces and wanted to get them done asap (my orthodontist can take them off for the wedding, I already checked), etc. I was thinking about the option of just eloping on the beach and having a small party after. Although I'm sure we can figure out a way to pull off a wedding, I'm just wondering if it's even worth it!
