Elopement

You could marry sooner if you are eloping. Are you inviting some people to this? maybe doing a small wedding reception? I think these less formal arrangements are being called elopements now.

Are you having a true elopement, with just you and your fiancé? Are you catering sushi for just the two of you? Or are you planning to go out to a restaurant afterward? Where are you guys eloping?

We actually had a small destination microwedding this past fall (our Officiant didn’t show up, so we couldn’t get legally married. Hence the elopement now lol) We had a fantastic time though! I think micro weddings are a great way to celebrate with only those closest to you 💕

We are getting married in 3 weeks. What started out to be just 4 possible guests is now maybe 14 guests. We have an officiant, photographer and makeup artist hired. Lodging for us and his sisters is already booked. Now it's just a waiting game since we have our wedding day clothes and all my accessories.

Is there a maximum number of people that can be invited and still be called an elopement? Thinking of having 40ish people, not sure if that's a small wedding or an elopement. Thanks!
