Elopement/dresses?

Definitely get the dress of your dreams- an elopement is no less special than a huge extravagant wedding! And it is absolutely acceptable to ask your friends to go dress shopping with you 😀

I'm wondering the same thing. I want a great dress-more than just a little white or flowered dress BUT I've been married once already and am over the big dress, ceremony, party etc. I've been looking everywhere for something fun and special but not a thousand dollars!

You can do whatever you want.

My guy and I eloped so we didn't waste $100 on the marriage license due to Covid. We still planned a big wedding. So I just wore a nice dress and for the big wedding I'm wearing my wedding dress. If that's not something you want to do I don't see any reason that you can't have a special dress just because you aren't having a huge ceremony.

Get what you want. I'm only having 15 people at mine and I'm wearing the satin corset ballgown dress of my dreams because I like how it makes me feel.

For sure bring whoever you want! If they're close enough to bring dress shopping, they're close enough to understand the fact that you're eloping. We settled on a micro/small wedding but were playing with the elopement idea for a while, and my bestie asked if she could come dress shopping either way.

Also, eloping doesn't mean you can't have a gorgeous dress! I'm getting married on the beach and still went with a flowy, sparkly, a-line beauty.
