Emailed rsvps help!!!

Hi all, so I thought it would be a good idea to set up a personalized gmail account for my cousins shower so we could have everyone RSVP there instead of having to worry about the mail/postage…well I just tried to log onto it and I’m pretty sure it was hacked. I linked it to my personal email, but the last two digits of recovery phone number was not mine or anyone else’s that I gave it to… Any ideas what to do from here?? Is there another way I can try to recover it or do I have to just contact everyone that was invited?

Yes I did check to make sure everything was spelled right/ punctuation was correct. I wrote it down and sent it to the wedding party so they could have access to it as well.

Hmm, this is interesting because even with it linked to your personal email, you should still be able to have access to it. I think the only thing you could do would be to reach out to Gmail directly to see if there’s a way to recover it. How soon do you need to contact everyone? I know you don’t want to go through the hassle of creating another Gmail account and resending it out.

Oh that’s disturbing! I would first contact gmail. Secondly send invites through Punchbowl where guests can RSVP and communicate on the app and not your personal email. Most invites are free.

Reach out to Gmail customer service for assistance. Otherwise setup an account on rsvpify.com so guests can use that.

Recheck the recovering emails and try to change the password
