My wedding was almost a month ago but I can't stop thinking about the big screw up I did. In general I'm a very overthinking person, I wanted my day to be absolutely perfect but I fudged up at the ceremony and placed my husbands wedding band on the wrong hand ....i feel so embarrassed STILL. In general I'm a very overthinking person, I wanted my day to be absolutely perfect but I fudged up at the ceremony and placed my husbands wedding band on the wrong hand ....i feel so embarrassed STILL. Like that's all everyone is going to remember. No one actually said anything about it the day of but I just can't let it go. Has anyone else every done something like this?

I love these stories. I know that nothing is going to be exactly perfect but I hope to just roll with it anyways

I threw up on a giant rock during our sunset photos and then the photographer made my husband kiss me for the pictures right after. Suuuuper sexy. The videographer captured it all as well. Mortified at the time but now we laugh about it.

Nobody noticed I'll bet! My screw up was my dad (an ordained pastor who did the wedding) got mixed up and gave DH his own ring to put on my finger... Now that was noticable xD

    Don't let this bother you!

I know couples who always wear their wedding rings on their right hand for whatever reason.

Lol no one cared or noticed seriously. I messed up my vows. We did the repeat after me thing and I forgot what I was supposed to say halfway thru one of the lines. I'm not embarrassed, we laughed, and the officiant helped me with the words and we kept going

If that's the worst thing that happened... Then you are perfectly okay. I would honestly laugh it off. People have done worse

My DH has large knuckles. The day of it was 85 degrees. His knuckle swelled more. It took me what seemed like a long minute to get his ring on. Our guest laughed and I said very loudly "at least I know it's not coming off easily!" It was hilarious. Don't over think what is in the past. It's over move on and shrug it off.

Sidenote: I'm an over thinker too.

Our officiant forgot to say "place this ring on her/his finger" or whatever they say so after he said "you may now kiss the bride" we kissed and then awkwardly put the rings on each other. I still laugh about it.

Don't sweat it! My husband got mixed up during our repeat after me vows and said, "I, H, take you, Natalie to be *your* wife" instead of my wife. All of his friends made fun of him at the reception. We just laughed it off.
