Hi ladies, i was hoping to get some opinions. I was wondering if you my dress needs a waist embellishment or if you think it would take away from my dress. I love the look with crystal belts but also i found this which i thought maybe pin to the back of my dress right above the booty area. Ive always since i was younger had a love for bows especially hair bows( which i was thinking getting a hair bow for my hair for the wedding) what do you guys think? I am posting my dress again and posting the bow i found to potentially put on the dress. Embellishment opinion 1

Beautiful dress. Honestly I do not think waist embellishments work with lace dresses as the lace is the embellishment and is a lovely statement. I think the right jewelry will help. The bow on the back is not a bad idea but I do not think you need a belt or anything.

I wouldn’t add anything around the waist and break up the lace. Your dress is lovely!

It's a beautiful dress and I think the bow would probably be a nice addition. I would definitely take your dress in and see if you can get a few examples shown to you before making a final decision on that.

The bow would work great as long as it isnt to puffy and more flowy, but a belt would throw it off since the dress has a very vertical pattern and a belt would be horizontal and cut right through the pattern, and would land in the middle making a more rounded illusion.

I agree that a belt would break up the vertical flow of the lace, but the bow on the back could be really pretty. Your dress is beautiful!!

With the way your lace is done, I wouldn’t to a belt and break it up. And I’m not a big fan of giant bows, or really bows period. My dress has a halter neck and I’ve contemplated putting in a hook instead of the tie. I also am going to sew my belt to my dress to avoid another long string/bow in the back.
