We are now down to the wire with only 3.5 more months until my wedding and I still don't have bridesmaids dresses for my ladies!!! We went shopping together, which is tough to do considering my MOH lives in TX, 2 of my bridesmaids live in Cleveland, and one lives in NY, but we all decided on the Watters Buttercup, style #2736. Not to mention, this was a pretty tough task considering all of our opinions, body types, and budget.

After deciding on a $300 dress I had to shop around for the best deal, which was on Weddingtonway. The dress is marked at $260 and they were going to give me a coupon code, but now that I have all of the sizes of my girls and I am ready to order they are no where to be found. I've left several messages, emailed several times, and I've called several times as well.

I'm stressing a little, because it was a long road to find 'the one' and now that option isn't looking favorable. What should I do? Should I just find another dress and buy off the rack? Plz HELP!

If you are open to chiffon over taffetta then I can recommend dressblee.com. I used them, dresses were great quality (had really good in built bras), a good price, made to my girls exact measurements. And with me within 4 weeks of ordering. Great service too. And tonnes of colours to choose from. Really cant recommend them enough!

Don't get hung up on the style of the dress. If you stick with black your girls can each go pick out their own style off the rack wherever they live. I planned my entire wedding in less than 3 months and nothing qualified as an emergency. You're going to drive yourself crazy if you make things more stressful than they need to be.

@Tamar I understand why this is an emergency to you. My best advice is to just think about how unimportant this is in the grand scheme of thing. You're getting married girl! Smiley smile You're marrying the love of your life! Smiley smile Delve in that, not the details. Smiley winking

Sorry I have to chime in on this one because this is not an emergency... this is something you created by waiting till the last minute. Pick a different dress or better yet let your BM's pick a dress they want. I personally think $260 is very high for a dress to wear once.

Could you just let your girls pick out their own dresses in a specific color? Mail them a paint swatch and let them do it on their own. After that...

And...that color is black? This should be the easiest search ever.

David's Bridal can probably help; try not to freak out. You will figure it out. Just breathe.

I'm less than 3 weeks out, and my girls just got their dresses this last weekend. It'll be fine, trust me. It might be easier if you tell them all to get whatever dress they want, within your guidelines.

Maybe you can't hear from your bridesmaids cause they realized $300 is really a lot to spend on a dress for YOUR wedding (not theirs). My girls got their dress for $65 from David's bridal, and my bridesmaids were in 3 different places (I was in a completely different state as well).

David's bridal is everywhere, do some online shopping with them one night (or by email, probably best option) and choose a dress, they also ALWAYS seem to have a sale going on. Not to mention, they're everywhere, so your girls CAN try on the dress, oh and they usually ship within like 3-4 weeks.

My bridesmaids ordered their dresses first week of November and got them by the middle of December.

Don't like David's bridal?? Look at Alfred Angelo, they're also 'almost' everywhere....

Macy's is also a good option as well...

Maybe find another vendor for slightly more money and pay the difference for your maids?

@Mallory, @Mrs. S I didn't wait until the last minute as I was searching for dresses for about a year or so. I am very type A personality, and I definitely do not procrastinate. Weddingtonway is giving me a great discount, $60 off of the $260, and I'm contributing $25 to my bridesmaids dresses to help them all stay within their budgets, bringing the total to $175.

I am having trouble finding another dress as I've looked at several gowns and like I said before, this dress fits everyone's body type as they are all significantly different.

I did think about having different dresses for the girls, but I want and need everything to flow and look cohesive. When I have a vision, it's pretty hard to change it.

@Sara you planned your wedding in 3 months???? Wow! I can't imagine...

@Mrs. T I thought about chiffon, but after seeing those types of dresses on my ladies, I prefer satin or taffeta as it is dressier and fits more with my gatsby theme.

To Everyone, I did receive a response from Weddingtonway today, ironically, and they are going to place a rush on my order. The stylist will be contacting me in a couple of days with a definite answer and if everything goes right, I will purchase. But if it doesn't work out, then back to the drawing board I go.

See I'm the type of person that is super picky and I like things a certain way...in the moment I even frustrate myself sometimes, but when it's all said and done-I'm super happy with the final result. Thank you for all of your help!

We're checking out Weddington Way for some BM dresses as well, so good to know they ended up coming through.

Check Azazie.com-- they have a three week turn around time and all the popular styles. Also, they make it to your custom measurements so no alterations needed.

This is the shit that is really irritating to me!! I understand your feelings of an emergency and the feeling of coming here to the forums for solutions not snide ass comments. Hopefully one of the recommendations above will help you Tamar. Next time I guess don't title the post 'emergency' .... Then Maybe you'd avoid the most of the 'useless' comments. Good luck!!

Light in the box is also cheap but runs super small off-the-rack. (China)
