Hello brides. Will you be making an emergency day of kit? If so, what do you have or plan on having in it?

I think i'm gonna make my bridesmaid responsible for this and make it more of a kit for all of us, but all the things listed above and esp things like tampons (cuz sometimes ya just don't know), extra medicines of all kinds, shout pen for stains, boob tape, etc!

Emergency kits are great to have! I encourage you to include everything that has already been written. I would also add mints or mouthwash, dental floss, and tweezers.

    Blister Treatment

    Black Socks

    Sewing Kit

    Nail File

    Lotion

Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets

    Sunscreen

    Tide to Go Pen

    Tide to Go Stain Eraser

    Tampons

    Krazy Glue

    Dental Flossers

    White Chalk

    Straws

    Q-Tips

    First Aid Kit

    Mints

Benadryl – Especially if you are having an outdoor wedding. You just never know when allergies will strike.

Bobby Pins – I would bring black and brown so you have some to fit a variety of hair colors.

Granola Bars – Get a high quality one with lots of protein rather than lots of added sugar. That way it will serve as an energy boost for tired and stressed out brides.

    Mouth Wash

Clear Nail Polish – Can be used to fix chipped nails, runs in stockings, or even buttons on suit coats that are about to fall off.

    Chapstick

    Advil (or another pain reliever)

Fabric Tape – Just in case a hem starts to fall on anyone’s clothing.

    Hand Wipes

    Earring Backs

    Eye Drops

    Corsage Pins

Fake Wedding Ring – Just in case of forgetful best men Smiley winking

    Tweezers

    Floral Tape

    Safety Pins

    Nail Clippers

    Tissues

    Mirror

Bug Spray – Go for an all natural kind rather than one full of deet so you don’t end up smelling horrible.

Hair Spray – Opt for something high quality for such an important occasion. You can even find humidity resistant hair sprays for those hot summer weddings.

Essentials oils – Try Jeddy’s Blend from Spark Naturals, especially helpful to calm a nervous bride.

    Lint Roller

    Deodorant

    Caffeine

    Antacid

    Scissors

    Pantyhose

    Hand Sanitizer

PensLighter – For ribbon or hems that start to fray or for candles that need to be lit.

    Water

Make sure to have safety pins! I was in a wedding last year, the bride's bustle button broke so her dress was basically dragging on the ground the majority of the night because we couldn't fix it, the emergency kit only had bobby pins. I think a few energy drinks would be good for getting ready, in case some girls are tired. A steamer is always good for wrinkles, tide pen, spray deodorant so multiple girls can use it, eye drops, q-tips, cotton balls, phone charger, gum, breath mints, anything that girls can easily forget!

I brought a pre-maid kit online, but i will say clear nailpolish, tide wipe pen (i forget the specific name but it helped us remove a stain the flower girls dress), back up lotion (we couldnt find the lotion in my friends bag, she was the bride), small sewing kit, bobby pins, if anyone has a steamer that would be useful (even though too big for a kit, my dress had wrinkles last minute and we had to run out to a cleaners), extra underwear, pad/tampon, tape, scissors, tylenol, tissue

Absolutely! With my luck, something will go wrong in the dressing room and I want to be fully prepared for it.

    I'll have things like:

-bobby pins (SO MANY BOBBY PINS)

    -tissues

    -gum

    -mints

    -extra hair ties

-extra hair spray (thick, heavy, fine hair does NOT stay in place without a ton of hairspray. I don't want my hair to move at all!)

    -Nail polish

    -Nail polish remover

    -Cotton swabs

    -Makeup primer

    -Makeup remover (for accidents!)

-Extra jewlery in case someone forgets theirs/it breaks

-Phone charger (I won't be using my phone TOO much but someone else might!)

-Ibuprofen cause I get headaches ALL the time

    -Other pain meds

-Itch cream (Middle of summer, I don't want to have to try and ignore mosquito bites!)

-Extra snacks like crackers for nervous stomachs

    -Menstrual products

    -Tide pen

And more. I'm going to start putting it together in early July so I can keep adding to it as I think of stuff!

I'm also going to have a tote or something similar for all of my outfit and day of essentials.

I did this. I made them up for me and each bridesmaid. We didn't end up using any of the items, but I brought mine to work after the wedding. It had so many useful things in it. I got bags at target and put the following in:

*lint roller, stain stick, and wrinkle release

*nail kit with clear nail polish

*sunscreen and bug spray (outdoor wedding)

    *mouthwash and flossers

*advil, pepto, benadryl, Gasx, eye drops, cough drops

*sewing kit, safety pins, and clothing tape

    *deodorant and baby powder

    *hairspray and bobby pins

    *gum, chocolate, granola bar

    *tampons and pads

    *q-tips

    *face blotting paper

    *moleskin and bandaids

    *make remover whipes

    *tissues

    *earring backs

I bought travel size where I could and bought what I could at the dollar store. The rest I put in small baggies and labeled. I put similar things in the men's and ladie's room baskets.

I did. I included Advil, Mydol, Pepto tablets, allergy medicine, safety pins, Bobby pins, a small sewing kit, tampons (I was on my period on my wedding day), band aids, fabric tape (only thing I used), my wedding was inside, but I got some of those things you can put on your heels so you don’t sink into the ground. I thought I might need those for outside pictures. I had a packet of tissues, a tide stick, I think that’s it. I wanted to be prepared for pretty much anything.
