No you don't put anything with your registry on your invites. Do yourself a favor and toss those cards away

No. It's not a silly question, but registry info shouldn't go with the invite (but of COURSE Macy's you to have them in the invites so everyone goes to Macy's, lol! It looks grabby; "You're invited to our wedding where, in theory, gifts are not expected, but hey! Here's where we're registered!"

I have gotten shower invites with registry card, which seems a little different since, realistically, the purpose of a shower is to shower you with gifts (even then, the "We're registered" part seems a little ickier than, "The couple is registered...."

Don't include those Macy's cards. Don't order an insert. Don't include any registry information on or with your invitation. It's simple. Put a link to your registry on an inconspicuous part of your website.

Word of mouth rocks. People WILL ask, and then you'll tell them!

As you might imagine, I see a LOT of invitations (like in the hundred and change a year....) I can only remember one or two that had the registry info on them.

On the other hand, almost every website has it on there. This might be one of those wedding things that seems weird and arbitrary but has its own code......
